Curiosity as an unfair advantage

Curiosity is not a personality trait I decorate myself with. It is the operating system. When a problem is difficult enough to matter, curiosity is what keeps the work precise instead of performative.

Hard problems force trade-offs into the open. They make you discard cleverness that does not compound. They reward systems that disappear — infrastructure so quiet people forget it exists until they need it.

I build software, products, and companies around that kind of difficulty. Not because complexity is glamorous, but because solving the right hard problem is the most intelligent work I can do.
